First Winter Market & High School Craft Fair

This Saturday, November 5, Haymaker’s first annual Winter Farmers Market joins forces with Theodore Roosevelt High School’s 11th annual Craft Show at the high school located at 1400 N. Mantua St. (Rt. 43) in Kent.

The market runs from 9am – noon in the auditorium atrium on the Rt. 43 side of the building, with 25 vendors selling fresh local produce including salad greens, turnips radishes, beets, winter squash, pie pumpkin, potatoes, and garlic. Also available: baked goods including artisanal breads, vegan and gluten free, pies, sweet breads, cookies, and pretzels; jams and jellies; maple syrup; honey; locally roasted coffee (hot and beans), grassfed meats, eggs, and cheese; goat cheese; chips and salsa, grain salads, hummus, soups, and more. Free parking in the circular drive in front or in the parking lots in back.

Get a jump on holiday shopping while supporting Kent students at the craft show, which runs from 9am – 3pm in the cafeteria and gymnasium, with many new crafters, concessions, and a free kids’ area. All proceeds will support health career technologies and cosmetology student competitions. Craft show admission is $1 at cafeteria doors, or at the end of hallway between auditorium and cafeteria.
